Ian Barbour zu Intelligent Design

Ian Barbour, Altmeister des Dialogs zwischen Naturwissenschaft und Theologie, gibt zu bedenken, dass Intelligent Design (ID) kein platter Kreationismus ist: "The proponents of ID are much more sophisticated than the opponents of evolution in the Scopes Trial in Tennessee in 1925 or the Arkansas trial in 1981". Dennoch sei ID nicht nur schlechte Wissenschaft, sondern auch ärmliche Theologie, die auf einen Lückenbüßergott setzt.

is Winifred and Atherton Bean Professor Emeritus of Science at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. Publications:

The last two books were recognized with the AAR Annual Book Award. Dr. Barbour was awarded the 1999 Templeton Prize.
